One of my favorite snakes, Northern Pines (Pituophis melanoleucus melanoleucus) are beautiful and easy to keep.  They get rather large and are very active, requiring a large living space.  Kept at room temperature, they thrive on smaller meals. Care should be taken not to overfeed them as obesity can become a problem. My adults are beautiful black and white descendants of New Jersey stock.
